Cold Water Immersion

The Recovery Room’s cold and hot water recovery therapies are based on years of pioneering research and work with elite athletes from the world-renowned Australian Institute of Sport. The luxury cold and hot plunge pools can be used separately or in an alternating manner to aid muscle recovery and relieve fatigue.

How does it work?

Reward your body for taking the cold-water plunge with both pain-reducing and anti-inflammatory benefits! Unsurprisingly, immersing yourself in cold water reduces your body temperature. Depending on the therapy used, your temperature can continue to drop (slowly, with no harmful effects) for 30 mins after. This reduces nerve activity, decreasing pain and soreness and enhancing muscle function.
