We’ve answered some of our most common questions below to help you feel at home before you even arrive.
I’m new to Yoga or Pilates — where should I start??
You are so welcome here. Most of our clients begin exactly where you are. We recommend starting with our beginner friendly classes such as Mat Pilates, Gentle Flow Yoga or a Beginner Reformer session. If you’re unsure, reach out and we will happily guide you toward the best place to begin.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to join?
Not at all. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are. Strength, mobility and confidence are all things we build together over time.
What is the best way to try the studio?

Our Intro Offer of 6 classes for $60 is the perfect way to experience a variety of classes and teachers. It gives you the space to find your rhythm and see what feels best in your body.
How do I book a class?
All classes can be booked via the Morning Light Studio app or our website under the timetable tab. We recommend booking ahead as classes can fill quickly.
What should I bring to class?
Just yourself and a water bottle. You can also bring your own mat for Yoga, Barre and Mat Pilates Classes although we do have some for use at the studio. For Reformer classes, grip socks are required. If you don’t have a pair, they are available to purchase in studio.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10 minutes early, especially for your first class, so we can welcome you, show you around and get you settled.
Can I do Reformer Pilates as a beginner?
Yes, absolutely. We offer beginner friendly Reformer classes where you will be guided through the machine and movements at a supportive pac
What membership options do you offer?
We offer a range of options including casual classes, class packs and weekly memberships. Our most popular option is the all inclusive membership with unlimited access to Yoga, Mat Pilates, Reformer and Barre.
What if I’ve had an injury or I’m returning postpartum?
We are here to support you. Please let your instructor know before class so we can offer modifications. We also offer specialised classes such as Mums and Bubs and gentle options to help you ease back into movement.
Is the studio suitable during pregnancy?
Yes. We offer pregnancy friendly options and encourage you to chat with us so we can guide you to the most supportive classes for your stage.
What makes Morning Light different?
Morning Light is more than a studio. It is a space to reconnect with yourself. Our approach blends intelligent movement with a strong sense of community, creating an environment where you feel supported, seen and inspired every time you walk through the door.
What happens if I need to cancel a class?
You can cancel via the app. Late cancellations within 6 hours may incur a small fee, and no shows will also be charged. This helps us honour our teachers’ time and open spaces for others.
