Morning Light Studio Barre classes are infused with the best of Ballet conditioning, the poise of Pilates and the flow of Yoga. Get ready for a high intensity, dynamic, full body workout design to get your heart pumping.
Based in our beautiful Sunshine Coast studio overlooking Lake Kawana.

While Barre classes are faster paced than Pilates, it’s still a low-impact style of exercise making it suitable for beginners through to the more advanced student.
Our highly trained teachers adjust Barre classes to suit all abilities and fitness levels.
If you are pregnant, we recommend that you speak with your instructor first to determine if this is the best class for you.

What to expect in Barre class
Our Barre classes are fun, and fast paced, paired with up beat music. Get ready to work up a sweat and most importantly have fun!
Barre incorporates aspects of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga.
In a Barre class we pair small, isometric movements with dynamic full body interval training. During a Barre class we often use small equipment, such as balls, resistance bands and light weights.
You don’t require any special dance or Pilates experience. Your instructor will guide you through the class and provide support if it’s your first class.
Each class ends with a mini Savasana (Relaxation) to recalibrate your nervous system and leave you floating out the door.
What to bring to Barre
Bring a mat, water bottle and leave your shoes at reception. Opt for comfortable and form-fitting clothing.
If you don’t have a mat – don’t worry, we have plenty that you can borrow.
Our Sunshine Coast Studio
Morning Light Studio is based in Bokarina overlooking Lake Kawana.
With high ceilings and wall-to-wall windows creating a naturally light-filled it’s hard not to feel instantly calm and relaxed in this beautiful studio.
