Gentle Yoga and Pain Science based treatment for Persistent Pain
Living with persistent pain? Discover an interdisciplinary, evidence-informed approach to treating pain with our Mindful Motion program, designed and led by a Pain Physiotherapist and Health Psychologist. This 8 week program is accessible and inclusive, and combines the latest in pain science and mind-body techniques, including the healing practices of yoga, to provide you with the skills to improve your wellbeing.

About the Program
This program seeks to demonstrate how knowledge and movement combined, can alleviate pain, stress and disability. Yoga is integrated as a powerful tool in addressing persistent pain and aligns closely with modern pain science. It has been shown to improve function, reduce pain, and support mental/emotional wellbeing.
This program is suitable for those experiencing persistent pain, seeking a complementary means of treating their pain.

Drawing from modern pain science and experiential learning. You’ll learn to:

What can you Expect
This program is designed to be highly inclusive, and you can benefit, regardless of your current functional capacity. Each class will be carefully planned to create an environment that feels safe, supportive and welcoming.
You can expect a combination of:
- Gentle mindful movement
- Breathing techniques
- Mindfulness skills (including body awareness practice)
- Relaxation practice
- Guided meditation
- Pain science nuggets
- Written activities & discussion

Duration: 8 weeks; 2x 1.5hr classes per week (payment flexibility if not all sessions can be made – please contact for more information)
Day/Time: Tuesday’s 14:30-1600 & Friday’s 14:30-1600.
Meet your Hosts:
Sarah Creamer: AHPRA registered, APA titled pain physiotherapist and yoga teacher. Sarah has over 13 years experience as a physiotherapist, working in different clinical settings in both Australia and abroad. Sarah values a holistic approach to pain physiotherapy, appreciating the values yoga can provide in this space.
Hannah Tregea: AHPRA registered, endorsed health psychologist, and yoga teacher. Hannah has worked clinically as a psychologist in various persistent pain settings across Australia, for over 12 years. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and is excited to take psychological therapy beyond the clinic, and combine the wisdom of yoga with the science of psychology.

INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT – $210/$290 (rebates may apply, see FAQs for more info)$210 one clinician; $290 both clinicians.
Please contact us before booking if you are known to Hannah or Sarah. 60-minute video telehealth joint physiotherapy and/or psychology assessment for review of your current pain approach, recommendations, assessment of suitability and introduction to the program. Required prior to program.
If this program is not currently suitable for you, you will be refunded 50% of the assessment cost. SMALL GROUP PROGRAM (maximum 10 ppl)– $1,220(rebates may apply, see FAQs for more info)
16 x 90-minute group sessions
8 x physiotherapy led; 8 x psychology led.
