Living with persistent pain? Discover an interdisciplinary, evidence-informed approach to treating pain with our Mindful Motion program, designed and led by a Pain Physiotherapist and Health Psychologist. This 8 week program is accessible and inclusive, and combines the latest in pain science and mind-body techniques, including the healing practices of yoga, to provide you with the skills to improve your wellbeing.

Drawing from modern pain science and experiential learning. You’ll learn to:

  • Enjoy movement
  • Change your pain experience
  • Experience impermanence and bioplasticity
  • Improve body awareness and self-regulation
  • Be part of a supportive community
  • Experience empowerment
  • Understand a mind-body explanation of pain
  • Foster your psychological and emotional wellbeing

This program seeks to demonstrate how knowledge and movement are the greatest liberators from pain, stress, and disability. Yoga is integrated as a powerful tool in addressing persistent pain and aligns closely with modern pain science. It has been shown to improve function, reduce pain, and support mental/emotional wellbeing.
